Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Novi Sad, Serbia / Remote / Basel, Switzerland
Workload: 80 – 100 %

Main Tasks
Wingflow is building a new silica processing plant, with the intention of processing raw materials of silicates to produce silica sols and silica gels. Further, there are various projects in the area of microfluidics. For these projects, new creative design solutions are demanded and the role of mechanical design engineer needs to be filled. In this diversified role, you will work together with interdisciplinary teams and contractors and it includes the following tasks:
- Designing parts, parts groups, and solutions to meet real life challenges
- Planning, execution, and testing, of building prototypes
- Developing and planning of construction in small batch production
- Troubleshooting and alteration of existing design solutions
- Procurement and project management in house and with external contractors
Profile
For these challenging and versatile tasks, we are looking for an innovative individual with experience in mechanical engineering, process engineering, and/or project engineering. Further you will bring some of these skills / experiences:
- A degree or similar qualification in process engineering, mechanical engineering or other similar engineering fields
- Skilled in mechanical design engineering and problem solving
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor
- High degree of independence and initiative
- Leadership, endurance, organizational, creativity and teamwork skills
- Fluent English skills (optional: German, Serbian and/or Russian would be beneficial)
